I had a great experience at Lumberjacks! I ordered the club sandwich, and it was really tasty and fresh. The only small downside was that they went a bit overboard with the cheese. It was a little more than I prefer, but not a big deal--I just took some of it out, and the sandwich was still delicious. The bread was perfectly toasted, and the ingredients tasted fresh, which made it all the more enjoyable. Before my club, I had a small dinner salad, and it was surprisingly good. The greens were crisp, and it came with just the right amount of dressing. It's nice when even a simple side salad feels fresh and isn't just an afterthought. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, and it actually reminded me of a place I used to go with my parents when I was younger. There's a comfortable, nostalgic vibe there that made me feel right at home. The service was top-notch too. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure I had everything I needed without being intrusive. All in all, I really enjoyed my visit and will definitely come back next time I'm in town. It's a solid spot for a relaxed, satisfying meal.

We got to lumberjacks for breakfast/lunch on the weekends and it is always great! Last weekend our server was Kim and she was very kind, attentive and fast. The food is always great, the restaurant is always clean and the service is top notch!

Husband and I Went to lumberjacks yesterday morning. The place was packed and the service was very quick and the food was really good. Kim was our server. She's been our waitress over the years here, and at a couple other restaurants. She has always been very pleasant and very efficient. Well done Lumberjacks's

Good food and reasonable prices. Huge dining area. This is the kind of diner I live for. Very homey and American. The wait staff are friendly and efficient. I can't wait to go back.

If you want huge portions than this is your place to go! Lumberjacks is located off of Nevada city highway in Grass Valley. The three of us had an early breakfast today. They open at 7am. It is warm and cozy inside with alot of woodwork. They also have a counter for 4 people as well. We shared the 4 egg omelet with potatoes and 2 egg scrambled with bacon and hash browns and toast. We also got the biscuits and gravy. SO much leftover food! The omelet had so much meat in it and the hash browns were good and not greasy. I didnt try the biscuits and gravy but they said it was fresh and tasty. The coffee was really good! We couldnt pass up the huge slice of chocolate cake with whip cream! We all had a bite and brought that back home with the rest of the leftovers. They also serve beer and wine and my friend had a bloody mary ( nothing special about the bloody mary). They have several tvs inside the restaurant. Our waittess Mary was friendly and kept the coffee full! If you are really hungry than this is a great option!
